1. Purpose and scope
Say why the policy exists and who it covers.
- Applies to staff, volunteers, contractors, and board members.
- Covers any tool that generates text, images, audio, code, or decisions.
- Reviewed on the date named in section 6.
This policy exists so that [Organization] can use AI tools to serve people better while protecting the people we serve, the voice we speak with, and the data entrusted to us. It applies to everyone acting on our behalf.
